Biography
Ozzy Osbourne was born in 1948 in Birmingham, England, coming from a working-class background. He faced several hardships in his life and did not excel in his academics. He left school at an early age and took refuge in music. In the late 1960s, he formed the band Black Sabbath, which went on to establish itself as the pioneer in the genre of heavy metal music. Following his departure from Black Sabbath in 1979, Osbourne went on to launch a solo career equally as lucrative. Over time, he developed not just an illustrious music career but an impressive image as well. Osbourne was called the “Prince of Darkness” for his dark and mysterious image. Later on in life, his fame extended beyond music as his family starred in a television reality show called The Osbournes.
